Will you be open all year?
We intend to stay open year round. We decided to invest in wind rated, glass paneled doors for the pavilion. These doors will help to insulate the space in the colder months while maintaining the amazing view. They will also be useful in the summer when a storm blows through. We’ll be able to quickly drop doors to block any gusts while keeping the rest of the dining room open.
What are your hours?
Monday – Thursday, and Sunday (11:00am – 10:00pm)
Friday – Saturday (11:00am – 11:00 pm)
How many people can you seat?
We are able to seat approximately 120 guests inside the pavilion. Weather permitting, we are able to accommodate additional seating outdoors – up to 200 guests total.
What's the relationship between the restaurant and the marina?
We are leasing the restaurant space from Ferry Point Marina. We are the tenant, they are the landlord. However, the relationship is very unique in the sense that we are running two businesses essentially in the same place. Since we work very closely with the Marina and their staff on a daily basis and our businesses “co-exist”, it’s critical we continue our great relationship in order to deliver a great restaurant and Marina to our customers, slip-holders and neighbors.
Who owns the restaurant?
Bobby Jones and Michael Neall, both from Arnold, own The Point Crab House and Grill. Bobby Jones has over 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry and will operate the restaurant as Chef, GM and Owner. Bobby will run the business with his wife Julie who will oversee front of the house operations. Michael is the restaurant’s sole investor. He is also The Point’s legal counsel, a full time customer, sounding board and all around amazing man. 🙂 “We have an awesome relationship and share a passion for hospitality, amazing food and beverage and great people. We’re looking forward to a long, successful relationship.” – Bobby Jones
